As we enter a New Year, now is a beneficial time for you to review your current first aid kit and supplies. The core reason for a first aid kit is to assist in an emergency. But if the supplies contained aren’t up to date, what use would this be?Take time and stock of your first aid supplies and make sure you are ready for any situation.

1. Have you got the right first aid kit for your workplace size and risk level?
2. Have you checked that you have the full list of British Standard or HSE compliant supplies in your first aid kit?
3. Do you have the right number of each of the supplies to be British Standard or HSE compliant?
4. Have you checked the expiry dates on all necessary products: sterile products, those with adhesive qualities or medical products?
