Due to continuing shortage of EpiPens, people have been informed to use their devices past their normal expiry date.
The medicines regulator has released that it had agreed to extend the shelf life of some 0.3mg EpiPens by four months
This has been a result of childrens and adults supplies which were soon to expire, but have been unable to gain replacements.
The government has been working with the EpiPen makers to resolve the issue.
